Abbie's First Birthday!!

Well, I finally have an excuse to post cute baby pics just like so many of my other blogging friends. My cousins Matt & Ruth's daughter, Abbie, (I guess, that makes her my cousin-niece) just celebrated her first birthday on Thursday, August 3. The party was a bug theme, hence the bug antennae we're all wearing. Matt & Ruth did a wonderful job of putting on a great party for everyone - both the kids and the adults. I was very entertained by all the kids (& Brad) running around and knowing that I didn't have to deal with putting to bed sugar-filled children.

After the face painting, BBQ supper and gummy worm guess, it was time for birthday cake. Here's the birthday girl with her wheelbarrow of dirt and worms cake.
